Frankie Morello S/S 2010

Frankie Morello S/S 2010

“I’ve symbolically banished black, so I don’t focus too much on today’s gloomy situation. For me, nothing is darker or more mysterious than China Blue”
Yellow, azure, sky-blue, grey, green, hight heels, leather items, plastic insert, horsewoman belts and leather strap over dresses or shirt are predominant in this new collection. Modern Amazon seems to be the fulcrum of every single look, as to declare that horseback riding is not just a sport, better is a style and a world.
“I think that curves deserve to be shown and flattered by a look that non-singles would call strong. I’ve discovered the only thing that is better than feeling free, is to be free!”

Francesco Scognamiglio s/s 2010

Francesco Scognamiglio s/s 2010

Astral Sensuality.
Scognamiglio catwalk for Milan Fashion Week took place in a fantastic location near Duomo.
A splendid athmosphere enveloped the saloon; mirrors, gilt frames, precious chandeliers adorned the ambience. Clothes allure for this Spring Summer collection is enhanced by luminous crystal-studded embroidery, mimiching the dazzling light of eveving stars.
Jackets, blousons and jumpsuits glitter like a galaxy. Stars are created through intaglio, intarsia, and by combining textured-three dimensional shake resembling origami. Once again the Francesco Scognamiglio DNA is perfectly defined: gold and black & white (the latter two often combined inside and out) are accompanied by alternative hues such as smoky grey, delicate liliac and a dazzling almost fluorescent orange. Jewelry, hairstyles and hats were especially created by Philip Treacy .

Albino 2010 Spring Summer Collection

Albino 2010 Spring Summer Collection

Deco versatility in a colonial way suggesting exotic hints. Showing this sensual universe has been the aim of Albino in his last Spring Summer Collection, where chiffon is brightened by nylon reflexes and silk , while large volumes alternates with wrap dresses enveloping the bodies. Colors are desert sand tones mixed up with ruby reds like the sunsets and greens from tropical gardens. Softness is contrasted by the geometrical sunglasses and deco hills shoes, that give life to ethnic-deco bijoux. The styling of the show is by our sharp talent Rossana Passalcqua.

New Prada Store Opening

New Prada Store Opening

Prada says that this new store in Milan, Corso Venezia 3, is the prototype of a modernist attitude to shopping, in the perfect synthesis of architecture and environment. In their way the store, re-conceptualised and re-outfitted by architect Roberto Baciocchi, represents a new contemporary way of selling and purchasing. Where marble alternate with wooden floors, the space experience should look familiar and will be creating an interior design that acts as a visual trajectory, finally ending the path in a large glass cube which extends towards the outdoor environment. Like a winter garden, this place will be perfect for exhibitions and events. The only thing they didn’t think about was the huge flow of people attending the opening. In a messy massive spatial experience, rather than familiar, not even any gift left!
